Class Types & Descriptions
All DivaDance classes start with community time and kick off with a high energy warmup/stretch. Then you’ll learn an all levels, low-impact routine of dance choreography.
All classes aim to provide high cardio and feature original, fierce choreography influenced by your favorite music videos and pop songs. Before we finish off with a sexy cool down, you’ll have the chance to cheer on your fellow dancers and capture video of the routine on your phone. Participation in the video is totally optional!
Note that some classes may indicate Heels Optional, Lyrical, or other fun class types/themes – read more about those below!
Try Before You Join
Welcome to DivaDance! Give us a Try Before You Join and let your hair down for a sweaty, sexy, stress-free class! If you love (and we’re pretty sure you will), you’ll have a chance to join our Community with some special incentives.
Childcare Available
Classes marked as “Childcare Available” indicate the opportunity to bring your little one to the studio while you take some me time. Childcare is provided on-site but outside the class by a 3rd party, licensed childcare provider who is vetted, background checked, and CPR certified. Clients enrolled in the class will be contacted directly by the participating location with additional pricing and details. Not available at all classes or all franchises. Participating franchises only.
Class Types & Descriptions
Boots Optional
Let’s go, girls. Come take it to the floor for boot scootin’ fun. This ain’t Texas, basic line dancing so expect to learn an all-levels choreography routine!
Booty Work
It’s time for the twerkulator! Choreo will feature movement inspired by the style of Twerk— including booty poppin, isolations, and NOLA-style bounce. Classes may contain floor work! Bring knee pads and consider wearing shorts that show off all your ass-ets.
Broadway
Take center stage at a Broadway-inspired class! We’ll bring the house down while learning razzling, dazzling choreo from or inspired by Broadway’s best. Facial expressions required!
Candlelight Lyrical
Bring your drama (and your mama)! Lyrical choreo emphasizes the dance interpretation of your favorite moody tunes. With choreo inspired by ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles of dance, you’ll leave all your emotions on the dance floor. NOTE: Classes may contain floor work, consider using knee pads or wearing pants. Candlelight lyrical classes include glowy vibes to help get you into your feels.

Chairs
Channel your inner Britney, circa “Stronger.” Movement will combine easy to learn choreo with some fun chair tricks and stunts. NOTE: Classes may contain floor work, consider using knee pads or wearing pants. Sturdy chairs are provided!
Collab Class
It takes 2 to make it outta sight! This class will feature multiple instructors — bringing fire choreo to one routine!
Community Pick
We’re passionate about voting rights inside and outside the studio — a Community Pick lets your voice be heard! Take the poll on our socials a few days before class to pick the song we’ll slay to.
Dance Conditioning
Hone your skills and tone those muscles need to make you a more confident dancer! Class will include lengthy stretching and toning exercises, across the floor sequences, and may include basic principles of jumps, turns, and/or leaps. No past technical training? No problem, come learn!

DivaDate
One of the best parts of DivaDance is the benefit of Community! DivaDates bring our members together for fun socials – like Painting with a Twist, game night, movies, hands-on service projects, professional development or Happy Hours!
Fast Paced/Challenging
Are you ready to level up, level up, level up? Choreo will move a little faster and push your brain AND your body-ody-ody. Don’t worry, we’ll still be hyping you up the whole time!

Floorwork Class
This class will feature choreo that is mostly if not all, down and dirty! Modifications won’t be available, so come prepared to drop it low (and stay there!) Knee pads or long pants encouraged (don’t say we didn’t warn ya!)
Giveback Class
Give Back classes will benefit a listed 501c3 organization by donating a portion of the proceeds generated from drop-in pass purchases for that specific class. Memberships are not applicable for Give Backs. Contact a participating DivaDance franchise near you to partner with us for a Give Back!

Lights off, black lights on! Wear white/light colors for maximum glow vibes. We’ll provide glow items for extra fun, but feel free to bring your own!

Hairography
Let your hair down, learn choreo where your HAIR is the star! Whip, toss, & swing those lovely locks.
Heels & Chairs

Heels Optional
Our heels optional classes invite you to wear your heels or heeled boots for sexier choreo that emphasizes body-positivity and confidence (and lots of hairography.) No heels? No problem! NOTE: Classes may contain floor work, consider using knee pads or wearing pants.
Lyrical
Bring your drama (and your mama) to this all-levels class that emphasizes the lyrical interpretation of your favorite moody tunes. With movement inspired by ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles of dance, you’ll leave all your emotions on the dance floor. Members Only
As a perk of Membership, you’ll have access to Members-Only classes! These will often have a special theme, treat, or other fun members-only-VIP-kinda-vibes.

Time to celebrate our Memeber Milestones! Whether it’s your first Divaversery or 100th class, we are so grateful you’re a part of our community!

Outdoor Class
This class will be a breath of fresh air, literally! Lace-up your sneakers, later on that SPF (because skincare is key) and let’s take the dance floor outside!
Pom
No cheer or pom experience required! Choreo highlights hard hitting movement with an emphasis on arms and fun visuals. We’ll shake, strut and shimmy our way to achieving squad goals (literally!) Poms will be provided for you!
Pride Pick
Pride Picks feature music and movement are inspired by the LGBTQIA+ community and allies!
Removeable Layer
Sip & Slay
Need a lil liquid courage? Our SIP & SLAY class is for you! Complimentary beverage to be served before and after (and during!) class as we sip, strut, and slay. 21+ only.
Slay Session
Get ready to sweat! We’ll learn a fun, easy piece of choreography that you’ll perform repetitiously to a variety of songs on the curated playlist.
