We were so thrilled to welcome the Jersey Diva herself Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi to DivaDance — who brought along her bestie Joey for the ultimate slay date. DivaDance NYC Senior Instructor Jordan (swoon) taught them their moves and got them slay-worthy by the end of their private adult dance class session.

We got the deets from Jordan on what it was like to work with the Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWOWW star and her boo-boo, Joey. “Snooki and Joey came into the room with tons of energy, and they were ready to have a great time,” Jordan said. “We started with our signature DivaDance warm-up. Joey was feeling himself in that Beyoncé kinda way. Snooki was nervous, but she loosened up quickly!”
Jordan confessed that the most difficult part of dance class for any new dancer is picking up the choreography. Totes — it’s a skill all on its own! (Take it from us — there’s still a learning curve, even after years of experience.) “They’re both great dancers,” Jordan told us. “I was especially surprised when Snooki did some freestyle — she can really move! She even dropped into a split at one point, which I came to find out was leftover from her gymnastics days.”
But naturally, no proper lesson is complete without the student teaching the instructor a thing or two — ha! The pint-sized MTV personality wound up giving Jordan a little lesson in gymnastics. “She said, ‘You taught me something. Now, I’ll teach you something.’ I reluctantly agreed,” Jordan said. “We started with a roundoff, which was very easy — like a cartwheel that finishes with your feet together. Next, she wanted to do walkovers, which were disastrous. After I got stuck a few times and ended up crashing on my head, Snooki let me off the hook, and we got back to dancing (thank Goddess)!”
