1. Take a trip with your squad to Lady Bird Lake
You and your besties can choose from a paddleboard or kayak to enjoy the scenery of Lady Bird Lake at EpicSUP. On the water is one of the best ways to social distance. Grab your sunscreen, drinks, bathing suits, and shades, and enjoy the float!
To keep everyone safe, all customers and workers are required to wear a mask when coming to paddle. Once you are properly distanced on the water the mask can be removed but must come back on when returning to the dock. There also has to be a strict number of people on the dock at one time. Any groups are limited to 10 or less on the dock at any time.
2. Test out Austin’s local breweries and distilleries
Live Oak Brewing is offering in-person seating that abides by social distancing rules. This COVID-friendly brewery is a European-style beer garden that hosts happy hours, special tappings, and German comfort food in Austin, TX. They also have the option of Beer-to-Go with their drive-thru beer to go system if you and your ladies wanna sip in the hotel!
For dining in the brewery during these time, there will be some rules and regulations put out to keep staff members and guests safe. Tables are arranged according to social distancing guidelines. There is a limit of 5 customers per table, customers are to remain seated unless ordering, throwing trash away, or going to the restroom, the taproom and Merch room are closed off to customers, social distancing and masks are required when ordering/walking around the brewery, and sanitizer is provided for the customer to use.
3. Learn a dance routine with a DivaDance Party
DivaDance Austin is a sexy, sweaty, and stress-free dance experience that offers the latest hip-hop & pop music of your choice, and if you want, we can throw it back to early hip-hop/r&b & pop music. DivaDance has choreography for all dance levels and is COVID-friendly! Bring your squad and let your hair down for an hour to celebrate the bride-to-be! You and your bachelorette peeps will feel like backup dancers in Beyoncé’s music video by the time you leave. You can also upgrade your bachelorette party to a DivaDance party and add on champagne, cupcakes, and decorations. 4. Taquero Mucho
Taquero Mucho is a great place to celebrate the bride-to-be during quarantine! Taquero Mucho is an all-pink restaurant that has a really fun atmosphere, yummy Mexican food, delicious cocktails, and is COVID-friendly! Whether you are inside or outside, masks are required to be worn, social distancing is enforced, and there is a limited capacity for guests in the restaurant.
5. Top Golf
One last swing before she gets her ring! Top Golf is known to be a premier entertainment destination in Austin. A place you and your squad can come for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, events, or just a night out with friends and everyone is guaranteed to have a great time. Go and play, be fueled by food and drinks, and moved by music with the ladies.
All of Top Golf’s bays are located outside with enough room for social distancing, such as eleven feet from tee to tee. Equipment, tables, and other frequently touched surfaces are disinfected between each group. There is a maximum of six guests per bay, so if your bachelor party squad is more than six, you will be required to get an additional bay.
6. Float On Austin
Float On Austin is one of the best party boat rental companies. They offer Pontoon Boat and Ski Boat rentals on either lake. All rentals include a captain to drive the boat, AUX cable for your party tunes, YETI ice chest, aqua lily pad float, and fuel. Get your squad in formation and have an unforgettable time on the water.
Float on Austin will be taking necessary precautions during your COVID-friendly time on the boat. They recommend you only come out with your small group of nine or less that you know for certain is healthy. The captain is required to wear face coverings, and they encourage their guests to wear masks as well. Certain restaurants and marinas require the use of face coverings, so if you and your squad would like to stop in somewhere, you should all bring a mask. Sanitizing and cleaning of the equipment is enforced before, after, and during your outing. Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer will be provided for your group to use while in use of the rental.
